This lovely one-of-a-kind sculpture, titled Thaelo, is created by Canadian designer Marcia Stacy and her husband, artist Ron Stacy.

First, Ron handcarved the figure from yellow cedar. Then, Marcia painted the surface in soft tones of turquoise and aqua with metallic and textured acrylic. Her style is reminiscent of Erté, one of the best known designers of the original Art Deco style.

Finally, the hair piece is crafted from metallic threads and the figure is mounted on a cut granite base coloured turquoise.

The sculpture stands about 11" high. A descriptive hangtag is included.

Special Note:

A beautiful work of art on its own, this figurative sculpture is also designed to store and display the Celebration pendant, available separately.
