Canadian
potter Stanley Lake creates his fanciful scarecrows from high-fired
stoneware clay, adding hand-sculpted faces and intricate headdresses
with colourful fabric tresses.
Stands on
a pole or sturdy tree limb (not included). About 13"
tall.
As each
scarecrow is one-of-a-kind, you will see slight variation
from piece to piece (see more examples).
To make your own selection, ask
us for photos of currently available designs or leave
it up to the artist.
To install: Drive 1-2" diameter pole a good one
to two feet into the ground. Position head on pole and stuff
with newspaper to keep it in place.
