If you're still concerned about ordering electronically, our shopping cart provides you with options to place your order via fax, phone or standard mail.
Any time you interact with our shopping cart (for example when you click on a "Buy" button or view the contents of your cart), you'll notice that the URL in your browser location window will read http://www.cartserver.com/sc/cart.cgi. That is exactly where you should be.
And, when you click upon one of our secure order forms at Check Out, a small "Security Information" window will pop up with the following message:
You have requested a secure document.
The document and any information you send back are encrypted for
privacy while in transit. For more information on security choose
Document Information from the View menu.
This is your assurance that your computer and our server will be communicating in a secure mode, sending data back and forth in an encrypted format.
Web pages where SSL encryption is activated are typically identified by a lock or key symbol displayed somewhere in your browser. Refer to your browser's documentation for the specific symbol and location. Another indication that a browser is in secure mode can be found in the Web site address that your browser displays. The address will begin "http://" in standard, non-secure mode and "https://" in secure mode. The "s" stands for "secure."
What happens after your order is placed?
Security measures continue even after you've placed your order, as we process your order on a highly secure internal system.
At no time is your credit card data stored on any system that is connected to the Internet. That's why we'll ask you for your full payment details each time you place an order with StudioCrafts.
A Word about Cookies
A "cookie" is a small piece of information sent by a web server to store on a web browser so it can later be read back from that browser. Web sites find cookies to be a useful tool in developing personalized relationships with their customers, for example to identify repeat visitors and offer them customized services. Be assured that a cookie cannot be used to get data from your hard drive, get your email address or steal sensitive information about you.
Our Shopping Cart service uses cookies to some extent. However, if you are still uncomfortable with this, we recommend disabling cookie support in your browser (please see your browser documentation for specific procedures). Disabling cookie support will not interfere with the shopping basket feature of our site.
