Pricing
All prices are in Canadian dollars and are clearly marked in the
product descriptions. Special payment terms such as a Deposit required
for Made on Order items or special packaging or crating charge are
also clearly marked in the product descriptions.

The rate of exchange when converting US dollars into Canadian is
very favourable -- every $1 Canadian only costs about $0.65 US!
That means you'll save over 30% off your total purchase including
shipping charges!

Adding
Products to your Shopping Cart
While you are browsing around our web site, the Shopping Cart allows
you to keep track of the products you wish to buy. Here's how it
works:
Step 1:
- Click on
to add products to your Shopping Cart. Have fun -- go click-happy
(our artisans will love you)! Don't worry, you can always
change your mind about something. Right up to the moment you decide
to take the final step of Checking Out, you can remove a product
from your cart or change the quantity at any time.
- The Shopping Cart will display the quantity, product name, selected
options, (including freight shipping requirement if applicable),
and price of each item you have selected.
Step 2:
- Click
on the
button at
the bottom of the Shopping Cart page to continue browsing.
- Click on
at any time to view the contents of your Shopping Cart. You will
see the totals of your purchases as you add or remove items or
change the quantity of the items you are purchasing. If you've
selected your Shipping Destination and Tax Category, you'll also
see these charges.
- When you're done shopping, click on
to Check Out and make your purchase.
Completing Your Order
Step 1:
- Before you Check Out, verify the contents of the Shopping Cart
-- it will display the quantity, product codes, product names
and options selected (including freight shipping requirement if
applicable), price, shipping and taxes for the items you have
selected.
Step 2:
- You'll be asked to verify your Shipping Destination and Tax
Category -- this will ensure that the appropriate sales taxes
and standard shipping costs are calculated for your order. (If
you miss this somehow, we'll catch it and provide you with the
accurate amounts in your order confirmation -- you'll be required
to accept these changes before your order is processed.)
Step 3:
- Click on
to make your purchase via our secure or non-secure order forms
for:
- Credit Card online
- Credit Card via fax
- Gift Order by credit card online (different ship to and
billing address)
- Certified cheque or money order via postal mail
- Credit card via postal mail
- Fill in the selected Order Form with the required personal information.
We will ask you for your shipping address, e-mail address and
telephone number, as well as information related to the payment
method you've selected. The form will give you instructions for
completing your order.
- Note: When paying for an order online and shipping
to an address other than the cardholder's billing address, please
use our Gift Order form. For security reasons, all such orders
will be confirmed via phone, e-mail or fax to the cardholder.
Payment method & Billing.
All items are payable in full upon ordering, unless otherwise noted
in the product description (see Deposits note below).
StudioCrafts accepts payment in Canadian dollars by VISA, Mastercard,
cheque (drawn on Canadian bank) and money order. Orders will not
be shipped until payment has cleared, so if paying by cheque consider
having it certified to minimize delay.
Deposits
Some items require a longer lead time to produce, yet also involve
a significant investment of time and materials on the part of the
artisan. In these cases, a deposit of 30-50% may be requested upon
ordering. This will be noted in the product description.
The balance is payable when the item is ready to ship. We will
notify you of the shipping date by e-mail or fax. If paying the
balance by cheque or money order, we will give you enough lead time
to minimize any delay in shipping. If the lead time is not too great,
it would be your option to submit payment in full upon placing the
order.
Order Confirmation
Moments after placing your order online, you will receive an e-mail
from StudioCrafts acknowledging successful processing of your order
placed on the World Wide Web. This means your order information
has been e-mailed to us and we're crossing all the i's and
dotting the t's, so to speak. Within 24 hours you will receive
a second e-mail confirming your order, total costs and expected
delivery times.
Every now and then, stuff happens. At the time of your order, if
we're aware of a known delay, change in availability, or total costs
were not finalized by the Shopping Cart (eg. a freight quote is
required), you will be advised immediately and nothing will be processed
or charged without your consent.

If you order something by accident or make a mistake, please call
or e-mail us immediately and we'll get things straightened out.
