are so lucky to live in paradise and we have to take
time to enjoy it, as well as do our best to care for
it.

About
the Artist
Many years in the graphic arts field has given Marcia Stacy
a diverse range of styles and media techniques. Her career began
as a commercial screen printer in 1973, and has changed and
grown in many directions since then. She has worked as an airbrush
artist, graphic designer, clothing designer's prototype seamstress,
silver jewellery artist, souvenir t-shirt artist, and darkroom
technician, to name a few occupations. Currently marketing her
"Celebration" collection of sculptures, jewellery
and small paintings, Marcia enjoys working from her seaside
studio on the west coast of Canada.
Artist's Statement
"The images in my 'Celebration
Collection' illustrate the idea that we should be more aware
of the beauty of the world that surrounds us. These joyful
figures are celebrating life, enjoying the magic of a song
or a work of art, delighting in the clean air they breathe,
cherishing the people and animals they befriend.
I hope my designs will serve to remind you
to take a moment to relax and savour the good things about
your life."
