Wool Blankets - Embroidered Wildlife Designs

Working in the style of Japanese SUMI-E ink brush painters, acclaimed B.C. wildlife artist Graham Howard captures the essence of his subjects' nature with a few strokes of his brush. His designs are then exquisitely embroidered on premium quality wool blankets, and edged in a complementary colour of felt. Blankets are 75% wool/25% nylon.

Designs include: loon, polar bear, black bear, mallard, orca, eagle, wolf, bison, moose, cougar, and elk.

Each blanket is packaged in the maker's branded cardboard sleeve box.

Handcrafted in Quebec, our exquisite wood boxes make a wonderful gift for valued associates. Featuring inlaid marquetry designs in a variety of native hardwood veneers. An individual hangtag identifies the wood species.

All designs are inspired by nature: Maple Leaf and Seedpods, Lady Slipper, Jack in the Pulpit, Bowing Birches.

Each box body is solid hardwood (maple, walnut or mahogany). The box lid swings open on brass hinges. Meticulously finished with water-resistant varnish. Each piece is signed by the artist.
